I consider myself an 'Outdoorsy' Childminder! If the weather is good, (and even not so good!), then we are out on an adventure! Having appropriate clothing and footwear is important.
We visit a variety of places including forests, parks, green spaces as well as community resources. As well as using natures natural landscapes and ecosystems for exploring and learning, I sometimes bring carefully selected resources from home which enhance curriculum learning, physical development, nature education and rich community based experiences.
